  • National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – October 22, 2016
    On Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the San Jacinto Police Department / Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, MFI Recovery and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will provide the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to CVS/pharmacy located at 102 S. Sanderson Avenue (No sharps accepted). The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Find out more...

  • June 4: Downtown San Jacinto Specific Plan Design Workhsop
    The City of San Jacinto has begun a community-based process to create the Downtown San Jacinto Specific Plan. The Specific Plan is a policy document that will help guide future growth and change in Downtown San Jacinto. The City of San Jacinto invites you to a “Design Workshop” on June 4, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the San Jacinto Unified School District Board Room, located at 2045 S. San Jacinto Avenue.   • May 3: Public Hearing on Consideration of the 2015 Urban Water Management Plan Update
    The City of San Jacinto has prepared a draft of the 2015 Urban Water Management Plan Update. There will be a public hearing on the plan update on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 6:30 p.m at the San Jacinto Unified School District Board Room, 2045 San Jacinto Avenue, San Jacinto.   • May: Housing Rights and Responsibilities Workshops
    The Inland Fair Housing and Mediation Board (IFHMB) is providing informative presentations about California Laws on evictions, repairs and security deposits, federal and state housing discrimination laws, and housing rights and individuals living with disabilities.
